In my "SPR= SI-units!"-bot, I found the relationship between SPR's (Smallest Possible Rectangles) and meters. Based on this, I have now managed to measure the highest possible velocity that an object can attain in Incredibots: approximatly 250 m/s, or 900 km/h. This is about equal to an Airbus A380.

I would of course appreciate if someone proved me wrong here, and managed to go faster than this.

I can't help and think that you can go faster, because you have attached 2 rectangles to the SPR, means it has extra weight that can be removed, and make it go faster.

The IB team will create a system of measurement.

I swear I have seen things faster, but I can't really compare a small fast object to a large fast object.

I swear I have seen things faster, but I can't really compare a small fast object to a large fast object.

I made a few experiments, and discovered that the weight doesn't matter if the force is very high. But the fleagun takes some time to reach the projectile. So I made a new experiment with a very small and light triangle with thrusters. No matter how many thrusters I added, it's speed remained constant (close to 260 m/s. However, it's more likely that the extra 10 m/s was because of the delay in the railgun). The triangle went at the same speed as the railgun-projectile (but a bit further ahead).

That's what railguns are good for. Accuracy.

Hey, I just thought of a very accurate way to measure speed in IB. The IB challenges reward points based on elapsed time, right? All we need to do is figure out the relationship between points and seconds. Then you can set up speed tests using the challenge system to determine exactly how far an object travels in a second.

For the record, it was proven long ago that everything in IB has a maximum speed. Up until now, though, we haven't had a way to measure & standardize it.

I can make some tests...

I have discovered that:
30 points = 1 sec.

With a flash game slower (To 0,001 of the real speed.),
A good setup of block falling,
Right eye precision,
And BANG.
30 points is 1 sec.

Look at a challenge called:
1Secfall
In my IB2 bots...

Indeed.
Try pause it right before it hits the block.
It says 0 secs but still finished.
if you do not pause at that moment then it says 1 sec and finished.

Also logical:
Flash counts in steps of 30 for seconds.
Framerate is 30. (I think. Have not really tested it.)
